A house with a new chapter
An old house,
a personal wine selection.
The building came first: a traditional nagaya, or row house, around a hundred years old.
The owner renovated it by hand, keeping as much of its original character as possible. Today, the downstairs counter seats seven, while an eight-seat sofa room sits upstairs.
The same personal approach shapes the wine list. The owner buys directly from Spanish wineries and imports the wines through the business. From a first glass to a bottle shared with friends, the selection is an invitation to explore Spain at your own pace.
Tsukishima is known for monjayaki, Tokyo’s griddled comfort food. After dinner in the neighbourhood, stop by for a quieter second part of the evening.
